I don't have "A" favorite, because anything you want to sing becomes my favorite. I love your voice. I agree with Gerald Wolfe; you are the best tenor The Cathedrals ever had!! Keep singing the songs, the hymns with a message. Don't much care for these new repetitious choruses that Baptist Churches seem to be substituting for the old hymns.

Danny blesses me each time I listen to the Cathedrals. I listen on Pandora and get the old videos with George, Glen, Mark, Danny and Roger on the piano. I'm a pastor and put these songs on while writing sermons. :) It's a lift to my spirit.

My dad was Rev Homer South. We first met when you were singing with The Revelairs. We shared a few fried chicken dinners after service in New Church, VA. I was working at WOLC FM and you were with The Cathedrals the last time I saw you. Dad's gone home now. Good to catch up with you!

My 12 year old son 'discovered' the Cathedral Quartet & a passion for Southern Gospel by listening to YouTube videos of old quartets. He has hundreds of CDs from every quartet imaginable, but he loves VHS tapes of various quartets & Gaither Homecoming friends. His favorites are The Blackwood Brothers, JD Sumner & the Stamps, The Statesmen & The Carherdrals. His goal is to meet all of the living former Cathedrals. He's met Mark Trammel, Scott Fowler & maybe a few others (He could tell you). He's even asked other singers "what was it like to sing with Danny Funderburk?" So if you are ever in the Nashville or surrounding areas, I can guarantee a blonde haired, blue eyed boy will be on the front row, mouthing every word to every song. Looking forward to it!

I fell away from God and music but for the last 3 years He has brought me back. I have rediscovered my love of Southern Gospel Music and how much I have missed Perfect Heart. Then just this week I’ve learned about your reunion concert to be held next year. It was like an answered prayer and I will see y’all in Memphis! Maybe you will remember me.
